Spacechem is approved by RDSO for fabrication of steel girders for bridges. Manufacturing shops of Spacechem at Ghaziabad are inspected and approved by RDSO based on the latest manufacturing equipment, fabrication shop, testing facilities, QAP, trained manpower, etc for Steel Bridge Girder Fabrication. Manufacturing facilities are as given in STR (Schedule of Technical requirements) issued by RDSO.
Railway contractors of Road Over Bridges (ROBs) are sourcing their fabricated steel bridge girders, beams and boxes from Spacechem as RDSO is supposed to inspect the fabrication of all open web girders and first 1000 MT of plate girders for any vendor. RDSO shall continue to inspect girders as both external sources and internal sources are to be stabilized.
